Gemini app simplifies Android homescreen with new UI
Following the web, Google is giving the Gemini app on Android a greatly simplified homescreen.

Google is rolling out a simplified homescreen for the Gemini app on Android, following the web version. The new design removes the "Gemini Advanced" logo and carousel of suggestions, replacing it with a simple "Hello, [name]" greeting. A new message bubble icon allows users to access their recent conversations and Gems, while the chat box at the bottom remains unchanged. This update is currently available on Android devices but not yet on iPhones.
