Gemini App's 2.0 Flash Model Switcher Rolls Out on Android
The Gemini app on Android is now rolling out access to the experimental 2.0 Flash AI model, offering users a choice between three different models to tackle tasks and get help from the assistant. 2.0 Flash Experimental might not work as expected but promises performance improvements over previous versions.

The Gemini app on Android is now rolling out access to the 2.0 Flash Experimental model switcher, following its introduction in the beta channel on Monday. Version 15.50 of the app, which is powered by Google's main Search app on Android, brings the feature to stable users. Users can choose between three models - 1.5 Pro, 1.5 Flash, or 2.0 Flash Experimental. The 2.0 Flash model will be made generally available for developers in January and more model sizes are coming.
