Gemini's Latest Update Allows Users to Share Images Directly from Other Android Apps
Gemini's Android app now allows users to share images directly from other apps, making it easier to add visuals to text prompts.

Gemini's Android app has made it easier to add images to prompts with the ability to share an image directly from other apps, reducing the number of taps required for this process. Previously this process was fairly cumbersome as users had to open Gemini, find and attach the image, then input their text prompt before using it in a response.
However there are some limitations: you can only share images, links or text cannot also be shared with Gemini and it is not possible from within Gemini's overlay interface.
