Gmail Introduces Voice Input, Gemini for Google Chat, and More
Google Workspace is getting a slew of new features and Gemini capabilities at Cloud Next 2024, including voice input in mobile Gmail, instant polish for rough notes, tabs in Google Docs, conditional notifications in Sheets, and more.

At Cloud Next 2024, Google announced a slew of new features and capabilities for its Workspace productivity suite and Gemini AI. Gmail is getting voice input and an instant polish feature, while Docs and Sheets are receiving new organizational tools. Translate for me in Meet will support 52 languages, taking the total to 69, or 4,600 language pairs. Google also announced two add-ons: AI Meetings & Messaging ($10/user/month) with Gemini and AI Security ($10/user/month) for automatically classifying sensitive files.
