Gmail Unveils Redesigned Google Calendar Card for Android and iOS: A Glanceable and Actionable Update

Gmail has introduced a redesigned Google Calendar card for both Android and iOS users, enhancing its glanceability and interactivity. The new Event card appears when you receive emails related to events like reservations or appointments. It prominently displays the day, date, time, event name, and an accompanying image. Additional details such as location and seat information are also provided. The card offers shortcuts for inviting others, viewing tickets, getting directions, and adding the event to your calendar. This update is now available for Google Workspace customers, individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts. Future updates include redesigned summary cards for Bills and Travel, which will be integrated into Gmail search and a new 'Happening soon' section above the inbox.
