Google app rolling out Song Search Quick Settings Tile on Android
Google is rolling out a new Quick Settings Tile for its Song Search feature on Android, making it easier for users to access and identify songs playing around them.

Google is adding a Quick Settings (QS) Tile for its Song Search feature on Android. The tile, introduced in beta version 15.39 of the Google app, features a music note icon that launches the full-screen globe effect when tapped. A Google Search results page loads once a match is found. This new method joins several other ways to access Song Search, including a widget shortcut, tapping the voice mic icon in the Search bar, accessing through Google Assistant or Gemini, and using Circle to Search.
