Google Chat Revamps Sidebar with Customization and 'Custom Sections'

Google Chat has updated its sidebar with a new feature that allows users to create 'custom sections' to organize their conversations more efficiently. This redesign also includes the ability to modify section sizes, reorder sections in the left-hand menu based on preference, and toggle an unread button to instantly find new messages within each section. The update is being rolled out to all Google Workspace customers, individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts over the coming weeks.
