Google Gemini Live Challenges Siri with Standalone iOS App

Google has released a standalone iOS app for its Gemini AI assistant, providing users with more direct competition to Apple's Siri and Intelligence features. The new Gemini app offers a version called Gemini Live, which provides free-flowing conversations. Gemini is initially available on Android in English for Gemini Advanced subscribers, with expansion to iOS and additional languages expected within weeks. Google is also adding ten new voices to Gemini and expanding its capabilities to work with other Google apps such as Gmail, Keep, Tasks, Utilities, Calendar, and YouTube Music.
