Google Home App Revamps Media Controls with Artwork & Faster Performance

Google is rolling out improved media controls in its Home app, featuring refreshed designs with vibrant artwork and colors. The new layout includes a large rectangular card for media information that's styled after Android media notifications, making it easier to use and offering faster performance.
In addition, Google announced the 'Member access' feature, which allows homeowners to share their smart home with trusted individuals while limiting the level of control they have.
Other updates mentioned by Google include the Google Home Gemini Extension, Nest Cam/Doorbell feeds on Pixel Watch 3, Nest Doorbell notifications on Pixel Tablet, two new Pixel Tablet Hub Mode clocks, Android 15’s Home Panel screensaver, Home Panel on Google TV, Gemini-powered Google TV overviews, and Google Home widgets on Android and iOS.
