Google Home Tests 'Help Me Create' for Simplified Custom Automations

Google Home app is testing a new Gemini-powered feature called 'Help me create,' which generates custom automations for smart home devices using natural language input. This feature aims to make setting up and controlling smart homes more convenient for users.

The Google Home app is testing a new feature called 'Help me create' that utilizes AI technology to generate custom automations for smart home control. Users can create automations with starters, conditions, and actions, which are different from Personal Routines. Starters tell the automation when to begin, conditions are optional restrictions, and actions are what the automation does. Multiple conditions can be set to either 'any' or 'all.' The feature is currently in testing and not widely available.
