Google Maps Relocates Weather Information for a Cleaner Look
Google Maps is moving the weather for a slightly cleaner map

Earlier this year, Google Maps started showing the weather in the top-left corner, but that's now being moved to another part of the Android app. Instead of appearing over the map layer, the rectangular weather widget now lives in the "Latest in the area" sheet. This design change aims to reduce visual clutter on the map.
