Google Maps Updates Accent Color on Android and iOS

Google Maps is rolling out a new teal accent color on Android and iOS, replacing the previous blue accent for buttons and other UI elements. The change follows other recent design updates like moving the corner weather widget to the bottom sheet and simplifying the bottom bar with three tabs. It's unclear why Google chose this more muted color that's not aligned with their usual palette.
