Google Messages introduces new 'Your profile' settings for customizing name and picture
Google Messages now allows users to customize their name and picture with the new 'Your profile' settings, making it easier to manage how they are seen by others.

Google Messages has started rolling out a new feature that allows users to customize how their profile is seen by others. This feature, previously called Profile discovery and now renamed as 'Profile sharing,' offers three options for users: People you message, Only your contacts or No one. Users can set their preferred choice and it will be applied accordingly when they send messages to other Google Messages users.
