Google Rebrands Data Restore Tool to 'Android Switch'

Google renames Data Restore Tool to 'Android Switch'

Google has renamed its Data Restore Tool to 'Android Switch'. This tool allows users to migrate their information when setting up a new Android device, moving apps, photos, videos, messages, contacts, settings, and other files. The new logo consists of three arrows made up of five dots each, with a blue, yellow, and green color scheme. The name 'Android Switch' is more straightforward and likely to be recognized by end users when they see an update in the Play Store.
