Google Revamps its Iconic 'G' Logo with a Vibrant Gradient Makeover
Google is updating its iconic 'G' icon for the first time in nearly a decade. The new design features a gradient that transitions smoothly from red to yellow, then green to blue, creating a more vibrant and colorful look compared to the previous four solid color sections. This update aligns with Google's recent design trends, such as the Gemini gradient used in AI Mode in Search. The change is already visible in the Google Search app for iOS and will soon appear on Android devices with the latest beta update of the Google app. The main six-letter logo remains unchanged, and it is unclear if other product logos like Chrome or Maps will receive similar updates. Users are speculating about potential changes to related icons like Gmail, Calendar, Meet, and Home.
