Google TV gains new 'Channels' section for UK broadcast streaming services

Google TV Streamer and Chromecast devices in the UK now have a new 'Channels' tab for quick access to regional streaming services. The section includes channels like BBC, ITV, STV, UTV, Really, Discovery, but lacks live channel support. Despite not having a tuner or traditional live channels, clicking on supported apps will launch into streamed simulcast content.
