Google TV Gets Dedicated 'Channels' Section in the UK

Google TV Streamer and Chromecast devices in the UK have gained a new “Channels” tab that allows users to quickly launch regional broadcast streaming services such as BBC, ITV, and others.
This feature is not available on all Google TV devices yet, but has been confirmed on several first-party streaming dongles. Due to the lack of 'Live Channels' and 'Live' tabs on Google TV and Android TV devices in the UK, this section doesn't work like a tuner. Instead, it only contains channels from within supported streaming applications users have installed.
BBC iPlayer is currently not available on Google TV Streamer, so some may not be able to access this feature yet. On Chromecast, the 'Channels' section will host popular services such as BBC, ITV, STV, UTV, Really and Discovery.
