Google TV Shuffles Channel Lineup: Goodbye Holiday Favorites, Hello Familiar Faces

In a recent update to its channel library, Google TV Freeplay has made some changes by removing and adding channels. As of December 2024, Google TV Freeplay had over 170 free streaming channels, partly due to holiday-specific additions. However, in the latest shuffle, three Xumo holiday-themed channels were removed:

• Xumo Holiday Movie Channel
• Xumo Holiday Classics
• Xumo Christian Christmas

These channels were expected to be removed after the holiday season but unexpectedly remained until mid-February. Additionally, two previously removed channels have been added back:

• OutTV Proud
• Shades of Black

Other channels that were removed in early February have not yet returned to the library.
