Google Unveils AI-Powered Video Creation App for Workspace, Aiming to Simplify Storytelling at Work

Google has introduced a new AI-powered video creation app called Google Vids for its Workspace suite, aimed at helping users create professional-looking videos for work purposes.

At the Cloud Next conference, Google announced a new AI-powered video creation app called Google Vids for its Workspace productivity suite. It aims to help users create videos by generating a storyboard and first draft with suggested scenes from stock videos, images, and background music based on their prompts, goals and selected content from their Drive documents. It includes AI-powered editing and an in-built Recording Studio for voiceovers. According to Google, the app's purpose is to enable great story-telling within work environments and will be initially rolled out through Workspace Labs this June before being made more widely available.
