Google Unveils Gemini 2.0: New Features and Wider Availability for All Users

Google is rolling out the latest Gemini 2.0 models, including 2.0 Flash Thinking (experimental), across web, Android, and iOS apps. The update introduces several new features: Deep Research, which provides in-depth research reports for users; Personalization (experimental), which uses past Search history to offer customized answers; and enhanced file upload support for all users, with Advanced subscribers getting a 1M token context window. Additionally, the 2.0 Flash Thinking model offers better efficiency and speed, consolidating Gemini Apps like @Gmail and @YouTube into a single interface. The update also includes broader availability of Saved info and future support for recalling past chats in over 45 languages.
