Google Wallet for Kids Launching in 2025 with Family Link Integration

In 2025, Google Wallet with tap-to-pay will be available for kids using Family Link-managed Android devices. Supervised kids in Family Link will be able to download the Google Wallet app on their Android phones for tap-to-pay transactions in stores, but not online payments. Parents need to approve every card added and can view transaction history. This feature expands on the infrastructure built for Wear OS-powered kids smartwatches earlier this year.
