Google Wallet for Android now supports New Mexico state IDs, making it the sixth option available in the app. The feature allows users to securely share their ID information using Bluetooth and is accepted in some airports by TSA.

Google Wallet for Android now supports New Mexico state IDs, following the last addition in August. Users can add their ID to the wallet by taking photos of the front and back, as well as a short video for verification. In terms of card design, it features a canyon background with the Greater Roadrunner (state bird) and the seal of New Mexico. The feature is accepted at some airports by TSA, but users still need to carry their physical ID card.
