Google's AI Mode Gets One-Tap Search and a Smooth iOS Transition

Google's AI Mode is getting easier and faster to access with the introduction of one-tap search on both Android and iOS. Previously, users would land on an introductory page before reaching the input box; now, they are immediately taken to the typing field with the keyboard ready. On iOS, Google has added a smooth animation where tapping the AI Mode button expands the Search field across the screen, accompanied by a vibrant four-color glow effect. This update comes after Google dropped the waitlist for AI Mode and introduced new features such as a redesigned desktop UI and enhanced visual elements for places and products.
