Google is reimagining Android with AI through the Gemini app and on-device Nano technology, aiming to understand context better and integrate seamlessly for a more intuitive user experience.

At I/O 2024, Google announced new AI features for Android devices, leveraging its Gemini app. The Gemini app will soon have an overlay panel for better context integration and a feature to ask questions about YouTube videos or PDFs. Google also introduced Gemini Nano with Multimodality, which uses sights, sounds, and spoken language to improve accessibility features in TalkBack and provide real-time alerts during potential scam calls on Android.
