Google's Gemini Advanced Subscribers Gain Access to Gems and Imagen 3

Google is rolling out Gems and Imagen 3 to Gemini Advanced subscribers, providing advanced features like custom AI helpers and more diverse image generation capabilities, including the ability to generate images of people while adhering to responsible usage principles.

Google is rolling out Gems and Imagen 3 to Gemini Advanced subscribers following the preview at I/O 2024 in May. Gems are custom versions of Gemini that can act as experts on topics, remember detailed instructions, and help with tedious or difficult tasks. Users can create their own Gems by providing a paragraph of instructions which will then be rewritten into a structured format. The company is also releasing Imagen 3, its latest image generation model, to users in all languages with the ability to generate images of people available first to Gemini Advanced, Business, and Enterprise subscribers.
