Google's Gemini AI email searches arrive on iOS ahead of Apple Intelligence

Google has expanded its Gemini AI-based search feature to iOS devices, allowing Google Workspace users on iPhones and iPads to utilize the service within Gmail. Initially introduced to Android in August, this move accelerates Google's lead over Apple Intelligence, Apple's own AI effort that is still in beta testing as part of the iOS 18.1 update.
