Google's Screen Search: Circle to Search Comes to iPhone with Chrome and Google App

Google introduces Screen Search for iPhone users, letting you circle and search content directly from Chrome or the Google app without leaving your current screen.

Google has introduced a feature called Screen Search for iPhone users through the Chrome and Google apps. This new tool allows individuals to search content they are interacting with more conveniently by circling, tapping, or scribbling on elements of interest directly from their screen, without needing to switch applications. Similar to Circle to Search, which was previously available on select Android devices, Screen Search is accessible via the three-dot menu at the bottom left of the screen and requires iOS 15 for the Google app and iOS 16 for the Chrome app. Additionally, Google has expanded its AI Overviews feature to more Lens search results, providing users with a summary and relevant web resources when they use the camera button in the search bar to capture an image.
