Halide co-founder Ben Sandofsky has filed a lawsuit against his former business partner Sebastiaan de With, alleging that de With was terminated for financial misconduct before accepting a position at Apple. The complaint claims that de With misappropriated company funds and potentially transitioned proprietary source code or trade secrets from the acclaimed camera application to his new role. This legal dispute highlights a major rift between the creators of one of the most successful third-party imaging tools in the ecosystem.
