Hulu and Disney+ crack down on password sharing, following Netflix's lead

Following Netflix's lead, Hulu and Disney+ are cracking down on password sharing, notifying US members of new terms and conditions restricting account use across households.

Hulu and Disney+ have begun cracking down on password sharing, following the lead of Netflix which implemented similar measures a year ago. Disney+ started its crackdown in Canada and has now emailed US members about new terms and conditions restricting password sharing across households. Hulu has also revised its Terms of Service to ban password sharing outside of one's primary personal residence, effective March 14th, 2024.
