Hyundai Maintains Support for Android Auto and CarPlay, but Hints at Better Alternatives on the Horizon
Hyundai is still supporting CarPlay and Android Auto, at least for now, according to executive Olabisi Boyle in a new interview this week with InsideEVs.
In a recent interview, Hyundai executive Olabisi Boyle said that the automaker is still maintaining Android Auto and CarPlay in its vehicles, at least for the time being. The executive compared this strategy to providing customers with adapters for EV chargers as automakers transition from CCS connectors to NACS. However, she also hinted that there could be better alternatives than CarPlay and Android Auto emerging in the future.
