Hyundai Motor Group Partners with Google Maps for Enhanced Navigation Experience

Hyundai Motor Group has partnered with Google to integrate Google Maps Platform's Places API into its infotainment systems, starting with Kia vehicles in North America. This collaboration aims to enhance navigation accuracy by providing drivers of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis vehicles with access to up-to-date information about 250 million places worldwide. The integration is set to expand globally after the initial rollout in Kia vehicles. This partnership appears to be a separate initiative from the previously announced plans for Hyundai's adoption of Android Automotive starting in 2026.
