Intel MacBook Air users can now upgrade to the M4 MacBook Air without sacrificing dual external display support, a feature lost in previous Apple silicon models. The new M4 model, available for pre-order and shipping from March 12, 2025, supports two external displays while using the built-in display simultaneously. This improvement addresses a significant drawback that existed since the transition to Apple silicon began with the M1 chip.
