Introducing ChromeOS Recorder App for Chromebook Plus

Google is set to roll out a Recorder app for Chromebook Plus later this month with ChromeOS 130. The app has similarities with the Pixel Recorder app, including real-time transcription that works offline, speaker identification, and summaries. It features a predominantly red waveform icon, containers and cards in the My Recordings homescreen, and a large pill at the bottom to start recording.
