iOS 18.2's Find My Upgrade Now Supported by Delta, United, and Air Canada

In iOS 18.2, Apple added the ability to share an item's location with airlines, and previously announced that more than 15 airlines would enable support globally over the coming months. One added app integration late last week.

Apple has announced that United, Delta, and Air Canada are now supporting the new Find My feature introduced in iOS 18.2 for sharing lost item locations with airlines. The new feature allows users to share an AirTag's location with an airline if their luggage is delayed or misplaced.

To use this feature:

  1. Ensure you're running iOS 18.2.
  2. Open Find My and tap on the missing item.
  3. Tap 'Share Item Location'. This will generate a webpage with shareable link for tracking the item.
  4. Submit the shared link to your airline using their method of choice.
  5. Be sure to disable the tracking link after the bag has been successfully recovered.
