Iowa residents can now add driver's licenses, state IDs to Apple Wallet

Iowa becomes the latest state to support driver's licenses and IDs in Apple Wallet, allowing residents to use digital IDs at TSA checkpoints, venues, and businesses.

The Iowa Department of Transportation announced that residents can now add their driver's licenses or state IDs to the Wallet app on iPhone. Iowa joins several other states in supporting digital IDs in Apple Wallet, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, and Ohio. However, it is important to note that a digital ID does not replace a physical license or identification card.
