iPhone 16 Lineup Praised by Repair Site for Highest Repairability Score Yet

iFixit has given the iPhone 16 lineup the highest repairability score yet, thanks to three key changes in design and internals that make it easier to access components. The rating is provisional pending Apple's release of parts, but the site praised new hard-celled batteries which are less likely to catch fire, a change to adhesive which can be removed with an electrical current, and more consistent disassembly options.
