iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max Users Reporting Random Freezes and Restarts

iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max users are experiencing random freezes and restarts. The issue has not been acknowledged or solved by Apple yet.

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max users are reporting random freezes and repeated restarts affecting their devices. The issue seems to happen around 20 times a day and doesn't seem to be fixed by updating to iOS 18.0.1. Some reports suggest that restoring the iPhone from a Mac rather than iCloud could potentially fix the issue, leading to speculation that it could be related to an iCloud syncing problem. Apple stores are diagnosing these units and performing a simple software reinstall but this doesn't seem to solve the issue. A complete erase and reinstall seems to have worked for some users.
