iPhone 16 Pro Review: Four Compelling Reasons to Upgrade
After one week of upgrading from the iPhone 15 Pro, I'm enjoying several key improvements with this year's model including a much bigger battery and better thermal performance resulting in no overheating incidents, an even dimmer screen reaching as low as 1 Nit for use in dark conditions like bedtime, a new 5x telephoto lens (up from 3x) providing considerably more optical zoom range without having to step up to the larger Max model iPhone, and a lovely subtle 'desert' gold titanium finish that's both tasteful and practical.

After one week of using the iPhone 16 Pro, upgraded from an iPhone 15 Pro, here are four reasons why it’s worth the upgrade:
- The improved thermal performance and larger battery means the device no longer overheats and can maintain peak performance.
- A new minimum display brightness of 1 nit makes for a more pleasant viewing experience in darker environments.
- A 5x telephoto lens allows for higher-quality zoomed-in shots compared to last year's 3x optical zoom.
- The unique Desert Titanium finish is subtle yet classy, setting it apart from other iPhone colors.
