iPhone 17 Pro Max Case Test Reveals Enormous Camera Bump, Hinting at Major Upgrade

iPhone 17 Pro Max Case Fit Test Highlights Largest Camera Bump
Recent photos from X account pipfix (@lusiRoy8) showcase a dummy unit of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max alongside its case, giving a clear view of the phone's new design. The most striking feature is the significantly larger camera bump, which extends across the top third of the back panel. This design is expected to be used on both the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
While the standard iPhone 17 will retain the same two-camera system as its predecessor, the rumored iPhone 17 Air is set to replace the iPhone 16 Plus in the lineup. The iPhone 17 Air will feature a thinner design with a single rear-facing camera, also housed within the camera bar.
The new camera bump on the iPhone 17 Pro Max raises expectations for significant improvements in photo quality. However, it may make the device feel top-heavy. Accessories like USB-C chargers, MagSafe batteries, and wireless CarPlay adapters are expected to be compatible with the new model, along with other Apple products like AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2.
Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches in September.
