iPhone 17 Pro Max leaks reveal striking new camera design

Rumored iPhone 17 Pro Max renders reveal a radical new camera layout with lenses separated from the flash, LiDAR sensor, and microphone, housed in distinct compartments within the iconic camera bump.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Leak Shows Redesigned Camera Layout

A new leak from leaker Sonny Dickson reveals renders of what could be the iPhone 17 Pro Max, specifically focusing on a significant redesign of the camera system. The most notable change is that Apple has allegedly separated the lenses from other components such as the flash, LiDAR sensor, and microphone, giving each their own compartments within a protruding camera bump.

The leak also includes renders of a MagSafe case with cutouts for these separate segments, as well as lanyard-friendly features. While this leak is specific to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, it's expected that similar changes will be present on the iPhone 17 Pro. Additionally, there are claims that the iPhone 17 Pro models may return to having curved sides.

However, it's important to note that leaks like these are often based on case manufacturers' best guesses and not verified by Apple.
