An iPhone frozen under the surface of an ice rink for about two months leaves its owner in an icy predicament

An iPhone has been frozen under the surface of an ice rink in Milton Keynes, UK for about two months after a worker accidentally left it on the floor overnight. The worker's daughter was initially angry but later promised a temporary replacement phone. It will not be retrieved until the ice rink is deconstructed. Despite Apple marketing iPhones as splash and water resistant, it’s unlikely that they tested how well an iPhone can survive being frozen in a large block of ice for months.
