King Charles Curates Royal Playlist for Apple Music’s Commonwealth Day Special

The King's Music Room on Apple Music Apple Music has partnered with King Charles for a special radio playlist, 'The King’s Music Room,' to celebrate this year’s Commonwealth Day. In the show, which is streaming for free on Apple Music 1 radio station starting at 6 AM GMT on Monday, March 10th, 2024, the King will share personal stories and anecdotes while curating a diverse playlist that spans various genres, including music from the 1930s to modern Afrobeats, disco, and reggae. Notable artists featured include Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, RAYE, and Davido. The show will also be available on demand for Apple Music subscribers.
Additionally, Apple's relationship with the British Royal Family has been growing stronger over the years, as evidenced by Tim Cook’s recent visit to the new UK headquarters at Battersea Power Station, where he gave a tour to King Charles.
