Level Up Your PS5 Purchases with Apple Pay Integration

Apple Pay Now Supported on PlayStation 5
PlayStation 5 users can now use Apple Pay to purchase games and content. The process involves scanning a unique code displayed during checkout with an iPhone or iPad, which then opens the native Apple Pay interface for payment. This method leverages the same code-based system introduced in iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, allowing users to authenticate payments with Face ID or Touch ID. While not as convenient as saving card details directly to the PlayStation account, this feature is particularly beneficial for users of the Apple Card, offering a 2% Daily Cash reward on PS5 purchases. Support is currently available on PS5 and will be extended to PS4 in a future software update.
