LG Innotech, the main supplier of Apple's camera modules, is upgrading its production facilities in preparation for next year's iPhone 17 Pro cameras. While details about the iPhone 17 lineup are scarce, it is reported that the periscope lens enabling 5x zoom will remain exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro. LG Innotech announced an investment of 375.9 billion won to secure a new facility for camera module production, aiming to respond to new models of optical solution business and improve competitiveness.
