LineageOS 22 released with Android 15, new music player and more
LineageOS 22 is now official and will roll out in the coming days with Android 15, bringing new functions and tweaks. Announced in a detailed blog post, this update is ahead of schedule compared to the previous release based on Android 14. LineageOS 22 includes all security patches up until December 2024 and follows Google's newly introduced concept of minor SDK releases. A new music app "Twelve" replaces the old "Eleven" system music player, a native PDF reader is bundled, and there’s a new download page with a dedicated dark theme. Over 100 devices are supported by LineageOS 22.
