M4 MacBook Air Reveals Its Subtle Design Secret

Apple has introduced a subtle design change in the M4 MacBook Air that distinguishes it from the M3 and M2 models. The key difference is found on the keyboard, where the mute button icon now features a speaker with a diagonal line through it, as opposed to the previous plain speaker outline used for both M2 and M3 MacBook Airs. This new icon aligns more closely with Apple's software design and matches the mute key on the Magic Keyboard for the M3 iPad Air. Additionally, the M4 MacBook Air introduces sky blue as a new color option, replacing space gray.
