M5 iPad Pro Expected to Launch in Late 2025 with Improved Performance

Apple's next update to the iPad Pro line with an M5 chip is expected to happen in late 2025, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The current M4 generation of Apple Silicon was introduced with the latest iPad Pro release in May 2024.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the next iPad Pro model with an M5 chip will enter mass production in late 2025.

The analyst's prediction suggests a year-and-a-half gap between releases of iPad Pro and possibly signals a move away from Apple updating Mac and iPad lines at the same time. The last release, the M4 iPad Pro, was unveiled in May 2024.
