macOS Sequoia 15.1 has been released, bringing the first wave of Apple Intelligence features to compatible Macs. Alongside AI upgrades are several non-AI enhancements such as improved iPhone Mirroring with drag-and-drop support and a new Low Power Mode toggle in the Battery menu. The AI features include an upgraded Siri, notification summaries, writing tools, photo editing capabilities, natural language search for photos, memory movie creation, priority messages in Mail, smart replies, message thread summaries, reduced interruptions in Focus modes, and intelligent filtering of notifications. macOS 15.1 is available for all Macs that could run macOS Sequoia but key AI features require an M1 chip or later and joining a beta waitlist.
