macOS Sequoia 15.2 Brings Image Playground and Genmoji to Mac Users

The macOS Sequoia 15.2 update introduces a range of new features including image creation with Apple Intelligence and Genmoji in Messages.

Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.2, which introduces various Apple Intelligence features focused on images, Siri, and Mail. The update includes Image Playground, where users can describe an image and have it generated for them within certain limits. In Notes, there is now the Image Wand that can turn sketches into more detailed images based on written descriptions, and in Messages, Genmoji allows users to create emojis based on their described preferences.

Other updates include improvements to Apple Intelligence Writing Tools with more options, such as rewriting text in different tones or styles, with the possibility of using ChatGPT if necessary. Additionally, Siri is now integrated with ChatGPT for certain tasks but will always ask permission before sending users' writing and ensure that data isn't retained for training.

In Mail, there's a new categorization feature for sorting emails into types based on what the user typically receives. Lastly, these features are being made available to English speakers in countries like Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the U.K.
