Maximize Your M4 Mac's Potential with OWC's New Thunderbolt 5 Dock

OWC has announced the Thunderbolt 5 Dock, a new connectivity solution for Apple's M4 Pro and M4 Max Macs. This device features 11 ports, including a Thunderbolt 5 port that provides 140W of power delivery to charge a MacBook Pro while transferring data. Other ports include three additional Thunderbolt 5 ports, three USB 3.2 Type-A ports (two at 10Gbps and one at 5Gbps), a 2.5Gbps Ethernet connection, a headphone jack, and MicroSD/SD card reader slots with UHS-II support. The dock supports two 6K displays on a Mac or up to three 8K HDR monitors on a PC, though Macs can only drive 8K at 30Hz due to the lack of Display Signal Compression (DSC). Priced at $329.99, it is available for preorder and will ship in early July, offering better value compared to similar products like the Anker Prime Thunderbolt 5 ($399.99) and the Sonnet Echo 13 with storage ($399.99).
